Interconnections, fragments, a forgotten book, furtive silhouettes, weird creatures – and more…

Written by the artist during her writing residency at La Galerie and recorded on a lake in Switzerland, the sound work Can You Hear Me Now? is based on The Dream of Poliphilus. It was created for the 2016 Nuit Blanche in Paris and first broadcast on the Batobus  shuttles on the Seine as part of the Floating ON AIR radio venture.

Delphine Chapuis Schmitz (Born in 1979 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, lives in Zurich, Switzerland) completed a Master Degree in Fine Arts at the Zurich University of the Arts in 2012 after having obtained a PhD in Philosophy in Paris in 2006.
Playing with the context and situation in which they are presented, the texts she appropriates and (re)writes take the shape of lectures, performances, audio-installations, and/or publications.

Her pieces have been shown at various venus including Centre Pompidou, Paris; Milieu, Bern; Museum Haus Konstruktiv, Zürich; Corner College, Zürich; Interno 4, Bologna; Le 104, Paris.
